We have started our Spring '08 sessions of Podcasting in Education, and there are over thirty participants registered in the three different courses By the time everyone has completed the program, we will have close to forty Certified Clay County Podcasters! Congratulations to everyone on their hard work. A special congratulations to Sandi Dunnavant from R. M Paterson Elementary School. She is our newest certified podcaster.
If you haven't been able to participate in our podcast training so far, please be aware that all three sessions will be offered again during the summer. Watch your email for the advertisement that will be coming out in May 2008.
This blog is for everyone who wants to stay up-to-date with the technology in the SDCC (School District of Clay County, Florida). It will spotlight the technology we are currently using, as well as those new innovations that are on our horizon.

FETC 2008
Hi Everyone,
I am here at FETC 2008 in Orlando, and it is another exciting conference. Our entourage has been here since Tuesday and we have been attending informative FCITL meetings, as well as dining on delicious meals provided by various organizations and vendors.
It has been fun seeing "old" friends and we have been learning a lot about the current, as well as emerging trends in technology. I hope we will be able to share what we have learned with many of you in the upcoming months.
It's time to go to my next session...believe it or not, it is on creating educational games and is called "Why Game Development Matters."
Watch for continued updates from FETC 2008! If you ever have the opportunity to attend this conference, you need to make sure you do. It is so interesting how educational technology has changed so much over the years that I have been attending.
